Aronia Examined as an Alternative Crop in Bayburt Agriculture

Bayburt Provincial Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry officials conducted an on-site inspection at an aronia garden in Gümüşdamla Village as part of efforts to increase agricultural product diversity.
Bayburt Provincial Deputy Director of Agriculture and Forestry Abdurrahman Müftüoğlu and Head of Plant Production and Plant Health Branch Muammer Araz visited the aronia garden belonging to producer Önder Turan in Gümüşdamla Village to receive information about the cultivation process.
During the visit, evaluations were made regarding the expansion of aronia cultivation throughout the province, the increase of agricultural product diversity, and the development of alternative production models. The Provincial Directorate announced that it will continue to conduct on-site inspections by meeting with producers in the field.
