The Ankara Provincial Registered Cattle Breeders Association and Ziraat Participation Bank have launched a new collaboration to facilitate access to finance for dairy farms with a capacity of 15 heads or more.
The Ankara Provincial Registered Cattle Breeders Association has announced the 'My Farm Grows with Ziraat Participation Bank' project to meet the working capital and financing needs of its dairy-producing members. According to the announcement signed by Association President Cengizhan Yorulmaz, dated 2026/115, the project is designed for Association members with a farm capacity of 15 lactating cows and above. The initiative aims to increase the capacity and income levels of small family farms struggling with capital inadequacy and access to credit.
Within the scope of the project, T.C. Ziraat Katılım Bankası A.Ş. plans to provide loans to producers and will not require additional equity from the farms. According to the statement made by the Association, existing assets will be accepted as equity. Within the framework of this model, it has been decided that the calves born from the animals will be supplied by the Association, and regular veterinary health services will be provided to producers during the marketing of milk and breeding products. Thus, it is aimed to ensure sustainability in animal food production and reduce external dependency.
Loan installments will be repaid directly using milk proceeds and subsidies from the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry through a pledge instruction. According to the 2026 data in the announcement, calf support will range from 7,000 TL to 28,400 TL, and raw milk support sold through the Association will be applied at an average of 7,000 TL to 10,500 TL. A calculation table has also been shared for producers to calculate their entitlements based on their criteria, and the model is expected to accelerate sectoral production.
