Elazig Agriculture and Food Fair Strengthens the Sector

Mehmet Nuri Yılmaz, former Deputy General Manager of the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, evaluated the development of Elazig's agriculture and the strategic importance of this year's sixth fair.
Mehmet Nuri Yılmaz, former Deputy General Manager of Fisheries and Aquaculture at the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, made evaluations regarding the transformation of Elazig's agriculture and livestock sector. Recalling that he served in the city between 1996-2006, Yılmaz stated that the agricultural structure has recorded a serious change and growth in the intervening period.
Touching upon the contributions of the sixth Agriculture, Livestock, and Food Fair, held this year, to the city, Mehmet Nuri Yılmaz made the following assessment regarding the future of the organization:
'I worked in Elazig between 1996 and 2006. Of course, there is a significant change in Elazig between that day and today. In this sense, it is a constantly growing, developing sector within itself. It is an important sector, a strategic sector, of course. Because people always want it. It is a sector that never loses its value. Especially the Agriculture, Livestock, and Food Fair, which will be held for the sixth time this year, I believe it will develop even more in the coming years.'
