4.1 Billion Lira in Support Payments Transferred to Farmers

The Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry has deposited agricultural support payments totaling 4.1 billion lira into producers' accounts, with calf breeding receiving the largest share.

Largest Share in Livestock Support

Minister of Agriculture and Forestry İbrahim Yumaklı announced that agricultural support payments totaling 4 billion 108 million 5 thousand 938 TL have been deposited into producers' accounts. The largest share in the announced support package was received by the cattle farming sector. According to the Ministry's data, 4 billion 51 million 204 thousand 220 TL was allocated for calf support within the scope of Cattle Farming Support. Within the framework of calf support in the same support group, 45 million 810 thousand 800 TL in direct cash resources was provided to breeders.

Crop Production and Total Support

Farmers engaged in crop production were not overlooked in the transfer made by the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry. Payments of 5 million 702 thousand 714 TL were made under the Basic Crop Production Support, and 5 million 288 thousand 204 TL under the Planned Production Support item. The total of the other three items, excluding calf support, reached 56 million 801 thousand 718 TL. Minister of Agriculture and Forestry İbrahim Yumaklı, wishing the payments bring prosperity to the producers on his social media account, stated:
