Minister of Agriculture and Forestry İbrahim Yumaklı announced the contributions of production planning, the new support model, and irrigation investments implemented over the last 25 years to the sector.
A New Era in Agricultural Production
Minister of Agriculture and Forestry İbrahim Yumaklı made statements regarding agriculture, water, and livestock policies in an evaluation on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the AK Party's founding. Minister Yumaklı stated that agricultural output has been increased through production planning, the new support model, and the livestock roadmap implemented in the last quarter-century. Touching upon the steps taken under the leadership of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, the Minister of Agriculture and Forestry İbrahim Yumaklı made the following statement:
"We have added strength to our country's power with revolutionary projects implemented in the fields of agriculture, forestry, and water over the last 25 years."
Water and Forest Investments
Minister Yumaklı stated that investments in irrigation, which strengthen agricultural infrastructure, and efforts to protect forest assets are being carried out with determination, pointing to the role of modern irrigation systems in agricultural productivity. Minister of Agriculture and Forestry İbrahim Yumaklı continued his words as follows:
"We protected our green homeland by improving our capacity to combat forest fires, bringing millions of saplings together with the soil every year. While bringing our fertile lands together with modern irrigation systems through our water-directing investments, we have carried our country to the center of leading countries in agricultural production by protecting the labor of our farmers. This great success story, written with tireless determination, passion, and a love for serving the nation, is not just a political journey, but a quarter-century epic that increases the fertility of these lands and allows every citizen to look to the future with hope.
