Erzurum Provincial Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry announced that ÇKS, KOBÜKS, and TÜKAS records must be updated to prevent disruptions in obtaining agricultural pesticides through the B-Prescription system.
The Erzurum Provincial Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry has issued an important announcement regarding the smooth operation of the B-Prescription system used in the prescription process for Plant Protection Products. The statement indicated that the infrastructure operates in integration with three different databases that ensure digital tracking of agricultural production. Accordingly, the Farmer Registration System (ÇKS), Village-Based Product Registration System (KOBÜKS), and Agricultural Production Registration System (TÜKAS) data are used as the basis for creating prescriptions. It was reported that producers can directly obtain prescriptions based on their registered land size and the types of crops they cultivate.
Officials, aiming to maintain productivity and sustainability in agricultural production, emphasized that farmers must update their records to avoid grievances during the procurement of agricultural pesticides. In this context, production area and cultivated crop information in the ÇKS, KOBÜKS, and TÜKAS systems must be entered completely. Furthermore, it was requested that contact information, especially mobile phone numbers, be kept up-to-date to ensure uninterrupted confirmation and transactions through the system. The Provincial Directorate urged all farmers to conduct their record checks without delay.
