The Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry has updated its list of adulterated and counterfeit foods, announcing new brands and businesses found to be non-compliant.
The Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry has updated the list of businesses that engage in food adulteration and counterfeiting. According to the Ministry's statement, four different ayran brands were included in the adulteration list, and inspections found horsemeat in some sausage and meat products.
According to Ministry data, similar non-compliance issues were also identified in various pide, lahmacun, and meat businesses operating in Bursa, Antalya, Diyarbakır, and Kayseri. Officials announced that public announcements within the scope of the fight against fraudulent foods will continue resolutely.
