· Tarım Pusulası

Export expectations in Russia have been revised upwards, and despite a decline in global wheat prices due to limited demand, port demand in the Russian domestic market has driven prices up.
According to Rusagrotrans data, Russia's wheat export forecast for September 2026 has been raised to 2.3 million tons. The institution's previous projection was at the level of 1.75 million tons, and this figure was revised to 2.2 million tons the previous week. Thus, total wheat exports in the July-September period are expected to reach approximately 6.6 million tons. The five most important buyers of Russian wheat during this period were Egypt, Azerbaijan, Kenya, Nigeria, and Bangladesh.
According to data shared by Agroexpert, global wheat prices declined in the period of September 16-22 due to limited demand. Prices fell to $303 per ton for US SRW wheat, $279 for French wheat, and $291 for Romanian wheat. Australian wheat fell to $300, and Argentinian wheat fell to $254. Pakistan purchased 365,000 tons at $348.83 per ton in its tender between September 8-16, instead of the targeted 750,000 tons, and opened a new tender for 185,000 tons for November.
In the Russian domestic market, strong demand from exporters for Baltic ports pushed regional prices up. Product is being transferred to ports by rail and river transport from the Volga region, and by rail from the Central Federal District. With this mobility, wheat prices in the Volga region reached the range of 10,000-10,500 rubles, an increase of 1,500 rubles weekly. In Central Russia, prices rose by 950 rubles, climbing to the level of 9,000-10,400 rubles per ton.
