Afyonkarahisar Provincial Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry is organizing informational meetings in villages and neighborhoods across the province to strengthen communication with producers. During these gatherings, farmers are being informed about crop and animal production, agricultural production planning, subsidy applications, plant and animal health, pest and disease control, water efficiency, food safety, and record-keeping systems, while also being introduced to projects by the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry.
During field visits, producers' demands and suggestions are heard on-site, fostering a mutual exchange of views. The aim is to support solution-oriented work with feedback received from the field, and the Provincial Directorate has announced that the 'Friday Meetings' initiative, which ensures direct contact with producers, will continue.
