Applications for the 16th International Agriculture, Forestry, and Human Photography Contest, organized in collaboration with the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry and DenizBank, will be accepted until August 31.
Application Process for the Photography Contest
The official application process has begun for the 16th International Agriculture, Forestry, and Human Photography Contest, organized with the corporate support of DenizBank by the Directorate of Education and Publications of the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry. Candidates can participate until August 31 in the organization aimed at drawing attention to the protection and importance of agricultural production, forests, soil, food, and water resources. The final results of the works evaluated by the jury will be announced to the public between September 28 and October 28.
Scope and Contest Categories
Within the scope of the organization, themes such as agriculture, livestock, forest assets, soil, aquatic products, food security, and preservation are highlighted. In addition, the contest, which will feature photographs depicting rural life, producer, farmer, and shepherd activities, will be held in a total of 6 different categories. Participants will have the opportunity to directly contribute to the visual memory of rural life and agricultural awareness by submitting their visual works prepared in the General, Farmer, Student, Theme, Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry Employees, and DenizBank Employees categories to the system.
Jury Committee and Prizes to be Awarded
The jury for the contest includes Aykut Ünlüpınar, Visual News Director of Anadolu Agency; Bülent Kahraman Çolakoğlu, Head of the Directorate of Education and Publications of the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry; Tuba Köseoğlu Okçu, Deputy General Manager of DenizBank's Human Resources Group; academics, and international photography artists. According to the statement from the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, a total of 1,735,000 Turkish Lira in cash prizes will be awarded to the winners, and the successful photographs will be honored at a special ceremony.
