Diesel Prices Reach 98 Lira in Three Major Cities

Fuel prices are rising due to the impact of exchange rates, Brent crude oil, and tax increases, with diesel prices exceeding 98 lira per liter in Ankara and Izmir.
Exchange rate and oil price volatility, along with tax hikes, continue to impact fuel prices. As of October 30, 2026, gasoline is priced at 76.30 TL per liter, diesel at 96.90 TL, and LPG at 41.20 TL on the European side of Istanbul. On the Anatolian side, gasoline sells for 76.20 TL, diesel for 96.70 TL, and LPG for 40.60 TL.
In Ankara, the price per liter of gasoline has reached 77.30 TL, diesel 98.00 TL, and LPG 41.29 TL. In Izmir, gasoline is priced at 77.60 TL, diesel at 98.30 TL, and LPG at 41.20 TL. Global market fluctuations, Brent crude oil prices, exchange rate volatility, and successive Special Consumption Tax (ÖTV) increases maintain upward pressure on fuel tariffs.
