As part of a project implemented by the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, 100 Acıpayam sheep were delivered to a producer in Çivril, followed by technical inspections.

Within the framework of the 'Prosperity in Rural Areas, Support for Small Ruminants Project' carried out by the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, 100 Acıpayam sheep were delivered to producer Derviş Akyel in the Gümüşsu Neighborhood of Çivril district, Denizli. Denizli Provincial Director of Agriculture and Forestry, Mustafa Nevzat Zayim, along with his delegation, directly visited the breeder's farm to inspect the general health status of the animals and the breeding conditions on-site. The inspection was also attended by the Head of Animal Health and Breeding Branch, Mehmet Sinan Bulut, branch managers, the acting district director, and technical personnel, who meticulously recorded the on-site requirements.
Goal to Increase Livestock Population in Rural Areas
Officials, meeting with producer Derviş Akyel during the technical inspections, listened to the current needs of the farm and evaluated the project's impact on the ground. According to data from the Provincial Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry, this support project aims to increase the small ruminant population in the region and provide rural producers with a stronger economic livestock infrastructure. Officials announced that livestock activities and rural development initiatives throughout Çivril will continue to be regularly monitored in the field.
