Konya Şeker Announces Sunflower Prices for the 2026 Season

Konya Şeker has set the price for sunflower with 44% oil content between 37,500 TL and 38,500 TL per ton, depending on the payment term, in its 2026 sunflower purchase tariff.
2026 Sunflower Purchase Prices Announced
Konya Şeker Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş. has shared its 2026 purchase price tariff for sunflower with 44% oil content, which producers have been eagerly awaiting. According to the current data announced by the company, two different price tiers will be applied in the purchase scale depending on the payment term. In this context, the price set for deliveries with 10-day payment for the 2026 season is 37,500 TL/ton, while the amount to be paid to the producer for purchases with a 40-day term goes up to 38,500 TL/ton.
Price Increases Compared to Last Year
When the institution's 2025 purchase table and 2026 figures are compared, significant increases per ton are observed. In the 2025 season, the purchase for products with 44% oil content was applied as 32,000 TL/ton for a 7-day term and 34,000 TL/ton for a 60-day term. With the new tariff, a 17.2% increase was achieved with a 5,500 TL per ton increase in the short-term option. In the long-term option, a 13.2% premium was formed with an increase of 4,500 TL per ton.
New Regulation in Payment Terms
In addition to price increases, changes have also been made to the term periods in payment schedules in the announced new purchase policy. The term options, which were applied as 7 days and 60 days in the previous period, have been revised to 10 days and 40 days, respectively, for the 2026 purchase season. Thus, the waiting period for producers to reach the highest base price of 38,500 TL/ton has been reduced from 60 days to 40 days, accelerating financial cash flow.
