Fires in Agricultural Lands in Bursa and Izmir Spread to Forests

Fires that started in agricultural areas in Bursa's Yenişehir and Izmir's Kiraz districts have spread to forests, with teams continuing aerial and ground intervention.
A stubble fire that broke out in the rural area of Fethiye Neighborhood in Bursa's Yenişehir district at around 1:30 PM spread to the forest area due to the wind. According to information reported by DHA, the flames are being tackled with 1 helicopter, 3 fire engines, 1 water tanker, and numerous personnel.
The fire that started in an agricultural area in Ören Neighborhood of Izmir's Kiraz district at around 11:00 AM also spread to the forest in a short time. Aerial and ground intervention is ongoing for the fire, coordinated by the Izmir Regional Directorate of Forestry, with 4 planes, 5 helicopters, 14 fire engines, 4 water supply vehicles, and 1 bulldozer.
