Strict Inspection of Agricultural Pesticides in Beyşehir
Plant protection product dealers operating in Beyşehir district of Konya were subjected to a comprehensive inspection by the District Agriculture and Forestry Directorate teams. During the controls, personally attended by District Agriculture and Forestry Director Hüseyin Özver and technical personnel, the license status of the agricultural pesticides offered for sale was meticulously examined. The teams checked the expiration dates, label information, and barcode matches of the pesticides one by one. The compliance of the businesses with the provisions of the current regulations was verified on-site.
B-Prescription and Safe Product Warning
Within the scope of the inspections carried out, the functioning of the B-Prescription system was also examined on-site, and dealers and producers were informed about the safe use of agricultural pesticides. In the statement made by the District Agriculture and Forestry Directorate, it was announced that the inspection process will continue uninterrupted to prevent farmers from experiencing grievances. Critical warnings were issued to producers to obtain plant protection products only from licensed dealers authorized by the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry and to be cautious against counterfeit or illegal products.
