Food Safety and Waste Education Provided in Schools

Technical personnel from the Provincial Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry raised awareness among students on food safety, hygiene, and waste prevention through educational sessions held in schools.
Comprehensive informational activities on food safety, food hygiene, and the prevention of food waste were carried out for students in schools affiliated with the Provincial Directorate of National Education by technical personnel from the Provincial Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry.
Within the scope of the work conducted in cooperation with the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry and the Ministry of National Education, students were informed about the importance of safe food, correct storage conditions, hand hygiene, and the prevention of cross-contamination. Furthermore, the differences between the 'use by' date and the 'best before' date were explained in the training sessions, aiming to reduce food waste.
