Diesel Prices Exceed 90 Lira in Major Cities

Amidst global market and foreign exchange volatility, fuel prices are climbing, with diesel liters surpassing the 90 TL threshold in Ankara and Izmir.
Global oil market dynamics, foreign exchange rate fluctuations, and excise tax adjustments continue to be reflected in fuel pump prices. With the new tariff recorded as of September 7, 2026, diesel prices, a fundamental input for agricultural production and transportation costs, have risen above 88 TL per liter in major cities.
In Istanbul's European side, gasoline is sold at 76.92 TL, diesel at 88.89 TL, and LPG at 34.99 TL; on the Anatolian side, gasoline is 76.78 TL, diesel is 88.75 TL, and LPG is 34.39 TL. In Ankara, a liter of gasoline is 77.89 TL, diesel is 90.02 TL, and LPG is 35.09 TL, while in Izmir, gasoline is trading at 78.17 TL, diesel at 90.29 TL, and LPG at 34.99 TL.
