The 12th Regional Directorate of Meteorology announced that locally heavy thunderstorms are expected in the vicinity of Erzurum, Erzincan, Bayburt, and Ardahan. According to the statement, the precipitation is anticipated to be effective in Erzurum, Erzincan, and Ardahan starting from August 16th at 06:00 AM, and across Bayburt from the afternoon hours.
Authorities have advised producers and citizens in the region to take precautions against risks such as flash floods, inundation, lightning, landslides, local hail, and transportation disruptions, along with strong winds, due to the heavy rainfall.
