A fire that broke out in an agricultural area in Muğla's Seydikemer district spread to a forested area across Saklıkent Canyon due to wind, reaching the borders of Antalya.
A fire that started in an agricultural area near Korubükü village in Muğla's Seydikemer district spread to the forest area due to strong winds. The flames, which intensified around Saklıkent Canyon, crossed the stream in the canyon and reached the forested area located within the borders of Antalya's Kaş district.
While the Muğla Regional Directorate of Forestry is responding with 1 aircraft, 6 helicopters, 22 fire engines, 4 water tankers, 2 bulldozers, and 160 personnel, municipal fire departments and construction machinery are also providing support. In coordination with the Antalya Regional Directorate of Forestry, 4 aircraft, 6 helicopters, and 80 personnel have been dispatched to the ongoing fire site in Kaş's Gelemiş Neighborhood.
