Steps to Strengthen Organic Farming in Gökçeada Discussed

A delegation from the agricultural organization visited Gökçeada Governor Osman Acar to discuss the development of organic farming and support for local producers.
Çanakkale Provincial Director of Agriculture and Forestry Ergün Demirhan, Head of the Good Agricultural Practices and Organic Farming Department of the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry's General Directorate of Plant Production (BÜGEM) Başak Egeser, TKDK Coordinator, and branch managers visited Gökçeada Governor Osman Acar at his office.
During the visit, steps for inter-institutional cooperation were discussed to protect and utilize Gökçeada's natural and agricultural potential for production, to strengthen organic farming on the island, and to support local producers. Governor Acar thanked the agricultural organization delegation for their contributions to the development of island agriculture.
