Kırklareli Provincial Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry continues its awareness efforts for producers to ensure the sustainability of agricultural activities. Within the scope of field programs organized under the name 'Friday Meetings,' the Agricultural Production Planning model was comprehensively conveyed to producers. It was stated that planned production is decisive in increasing efficiency and effectively utilizing limited natural resources. Teams listened to the problems faced by producers in the field and shared the technical details of planning steps in detail.
Harvest Process and Fire Precautions
Another prominent agenda item in the meetings was the correct technical practices to be followed during the harvest process. Producers were reminded of the issues to be considered during the harvest period to minimize product losses. Additionally, special warnings were issued against the increasing risk of stubble and forest fires with rising temperatures in the summer months. It was emphasized that negligence that could trigger fire risks in and around agricultural lands should be avoided and precautions should be strictly maintained.
