TMO Paid Producers TRY 170 Billion

Minister of Agriculture and Forestry İbrahim Yumaklı announced that the Turkish Grain Board (TMO) has made payments of TRY 170 billion to farmers for the purchase of 12.1 million tons of produce.
Minister of Agriculture and Forestry İbrahim Yumaklı shared data regarding the purchase operations carried out through the Turkish Grain Board (TMO). According to Minister Yumaklı's statement, the institution purchased a total of 12.1 million tons of produce from producers.
Stating that TRY 170 billion was transferred to the accounts of producers in line with these purchases, Minister of Agriculture and Forestry İbrahim Yumaklı included the following statements in his announcement:
