Diesel Prices Approach 84 Lira in Major Cities

Fuel prices were updated following fluctuations in Brent crude oil and foreign exchange rates. The price of diesel, critical for the agriculture and logistics sectors, has reached the 82-84 lira per liter range in major cities.
Following fluctuations in Brent crude oil prices, foreign exchange rate movements, and tax regulations, the pump selling prices for gasoline, diesel, and LPG were updated as of August 24, 2026. Diesel prices, which are critically important for agricultural mechanization and transportation, are ranging between 82 TL and 84 TL per liter in major cities.
According to the current tariff, gasoline is sold at 71.54 TL, diesel at 82.73 TL, and LPG at 33.79 TL on the European side of Istanbul. On the Anatolian side, the figures were recorded as 71.39 TL, 82.58 TL, and 33.19 TL, respectively. In Ankara, a liter of gasoline is 72.51 TL, diesel is 83.83 TL, and LPG is 33.89 TL. In Izmir, pump prices reached 72.81 TL for gasoline, 84.12 TL for diesel, and 33.79 TL for LPG.
