· Dünya Gazetesi

The General Directorate of Meteorology has issued a warning to producers regarding the risk of heavy downpours, floods, and storms in many regions, particularly the Aegean Coast and Western Mediterranean.
Severe Rainfall and Flood Warning
The General Directorate of Meteorology has issued critical warnings due to expected widespread showers and thunderstorms across Turkey. According to the institution's latest assessments, rainfall is anticipated in Marmara, Aegean, Western Mediterranean, northwestern Central Anatolia, Western Black Sea, Southeastern Anatolia, and the Taurus Mountains region of Eastern Mediterranean. Rainfall is projected to be heavy, especially along the Aegean Coast and in the eastern parts of Antalya. Officials report that rainfall will reach locally very heavy and severe levels in Muğla and surrounding provinces, where agricultural production is concentrated.

Regional Risks and Agricultural Threats
In light of these severe meteorological events, caution is advised against sudden floods, flash floods, landslides, and transportation disruptions. The institution highlights the danger of localized hail, lightning, and strong winds, which could cause significant damage to fields and greenhouse areas. The possibility of waterspouts forming along coastal strips has been noted, urging producers and local residents to take precautions. Air temperatures nationwide are expected to remain at seasonal norms, with winds blowing from the south and east.
