Public and Private Sector Expertise Combined

'Today, quality, reliability, and compliance with international standards are among the fundamental elements determining the global competitiveness of our industry. Especially in the food sector, which directly concerns human health, managing all processes from production to consumption with a reliable and sustainable approach is of great importance.'
İnan emphasized that this cooperation will contribute to food safety efforts and the position of Turkish industry in global value chains.
Holistic Control Mechanism in the Supply Chain
TSE Global General Manager and UDK Chairman Dr. Hüseyin Alper Türedi commented that the audits do not only cover the final product, stating:
'Food safety and halal production principles are vital control mechanisms that require a holistic approach to all processes, not limited to controlling the final product; from raw materials to production, from supplier assessments to compliance with international standards.'
Türedi announced that traceability and a common quality understanding will be established in the process extending from agricultural raw materials to the consumer.
COP31 and Global Agriculture Goals
Yildiz Holding Chairman and CEO Mehmet Tütüncü stated that they consider food safety a fundamental responsibility, noting:
'Food safety has been among the fundamental elements of our business practices since our establishment. As Yildiz Holding, we consider food safety among our fundamental responsibilities in all geographies where we operate. We base our entire processes, from raw materials to production, from the supply chain to the consumer, on scientific approaches, consumer sensitivities, strong standards, and continuous development.'
Tütüncü also mentioned that they are co-chairing the Food Safety and Agriculture workstream within the COP31 process to be hosted by Turkey.
